How the studio works
- Paste a URL. Drop any public YouTube link. The video loads in a browser-native player.
- Mark in and out. Use the scrubber to set the start and end of the moment you want to keep. Add more clips from the same video; on Pro, also from other videos on the same channel.
- Share one link. Copy the
/m/<slug>URL the studio generates. Paste it anywhere — Discord, X, Slack, Substack, an email.
What you get on the Free tier

Why the studio exists
YouTube retired the viewer-side Clips feature on April 17, 2026 — losing end-time setting, multi-clip sequencing, and the dedicated /clip/<id> shareable player. The studio is the workflow back, on the same videos, at a single URL. Read the full post-mortem or the head-to-head comparison.
